Allah Never Hurts You

A ship drowned in deep sea and all the passangers were drowwned except one who survived and managed to reach a small, uninhabited islan. He prayed to All Might Allah, day and night, for his rescue. Every day he would scan the horizon waiting for help, but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood and dry grass and bushes to protect him from weather and other natural clamities and to store his few possessions.

Days passed and he lived on with dieing hope to be rescued. But then one day, tired after day long scavenging for food, when he arrived home. He found his little abode in flames. The smoke shaping a whirl was rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger and cried like hell looking complainingly towards heavens.

"Allah, how could You do this to me!" he cried. Early the next morning, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. He jumped with joy to find the way to the world. The ship had come to rescue him.

"How did you know I was here?" asked the somnolent man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

Moral

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad. But we shouldn't lose heart, because Allah is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering.
